Hello guys!
My name is Maria and I'm from Greece. I'm fun of Stefanos and through him I've learned Linda. I like very much her latest album (with Stefanos) and I found it very different from the others. The truth is that I haven't listened all her past cd's..She isn't much known in Greece. I like her style much.
I wanted to know if the album became Gold or Platinum in Russia and in general the participation in the concerts and in the lives. In Greece there was a rumor that Linda's funs didn't like Stefanos (at first at least..!).
Me and all the funs in Greece know well how important is this collaboration for Stefanos and how much he tries for the best.

Why the site hasn't got an english section.??It's a pitty!!I can't understand a word!!!!

Unfortunately, Linda's last album is neither Gold, nor Platinum. In fact, it is not well-known... I think, it's because of very lazy promotion by Universal Music Russia. Seems like this label is not interested in promoting Linda. That makes me very sad, 'cause it's one of my favourite Linda's albums. Though some fans of Linda think it's the worst one...

Hi! Maria!!! Nice to meet you!!! And there is no english version of this site... and it is very sad not for me only......and i think it is very sad for all fans of Linda from orther counrtyes))... But I think this version of this site...will be working!!
If you want to listen all albums of Linda...I think... all of us will be help you...becuase...Linda is very nice...deep... smart person of Russian music stage....She is only one!!!

Thank you very much for your information all of you. I'm very glad that finally my message was send. I thought I made it all wrong! I want english version....:-)
I can't of course understand this "private" in my first message. I don't know...It's very difficult for me, believe me!
I hope she'll visit Greece for a concert with Stefano and so I'll have the chance to see her on stage.

Unfortunately the album isn't released yet . It is said that it'll be released in the "next days" and I'm expecting these "days" for a long ....In the album will be songs in english and a duet with a greek band named Going Through, which is a hip-hop band and very famous.
I promise you that when it wiil be released I'll try to upload the new tracks in the site you told me, otherwise you will send me instructions or in the worst case an e-mail to send you the tracks and you will do the other work...OK?
I want to ask you about the promotion of the album, there haven't been enough concerts or advertisements? We have lost Stefano because it said that he is all the time in Russia for the album and its promotion.
In Greece it said tha Linda is one of the most famous singers in Russia and with millions of sales.
It really made me sad the fact that the album isn't even gold..:-(
I've heard that the funs didn't like the changes in Linda's look and in general didn't like the work with Stefanos. The truth is that also here this work seems very strange. Linda's style is completely different of what Stefanos has used us. I find it normal because I know that he likes to change, to learn and to risk and finally do something different and Linda was the best to "help" him.
Last year when Stefanos was giving some perfomances in a music stage Linda was there. Of course then, I didn't know anything of her but I remember that he welcomed his friends from Russia and he just said that they are doing great things there.
I think it's better to stop writting. I've tired you enough...

Linda really is one of the most famous singers in Russia. But she still remains very alien to the mainstream music. Everybody know about her but one day she may be top of the charts, the other day - out of them... The peak of her success was "The crow" album (1996). In those days the sales were really very huge! Most people, I think, wanted after this the same songs but Linda changed with every new album and most of her so-called fans forgot about her. Besides, the promotion highly depends on money investments. You have no money - no matter how ingenious you are, we will not promote you. No promotion - no fans, no sales. Her last album "Ataka" (2004) was rather popular. I'm not sure about the number of copies but it was far better than this one. One of the hits, "Run", was even number one hit of the year on the most famous Russian rock-radio "Maximum". I don't know why Universal Music Russia doesn't promote this album like it dit in 2004.

The promotion of the new album was very modest. Linda with Stefanos performed a "big" concert "AleAda" last year and some small concerts in the night clubs. By our information and information from the press Linda and Stefanos spent most time in Greece for making music records and clips.

Maria, thanks for all the info about Linda in Greece, and thanks for sharing the album when it comes out! :)

I don't live in Russia, so I don't know how popular she is, or isn't.
I live in America, and no one really knows her here at all. But I've been a fan for the past couple of years now. I have to say that I LOVE the album "AleAda," but I don't really like the videos for it so far. I like her chameleon like attitude... She always changes her image... But I miss her old style of videos, like "Shokolad i Sleza," "Vzglyad Iznutri," and even "Begi."

Hello,

I have some news but I don't know for sure if these will happen. The album is said to be released in Greece after Easter and in May Linda and Stefanos will give some concerts for the promotion. There is no official announcement of course...! I've read it on a magazine...

Unfortunately I can't...I've read it in the hairdreaser in a gossip magazine...You know there you can find past magazines and learn all the news and gossip! It was a little announcement with the foto of Stefanos and title "International music". It wasn't even a statement of Stefanos, a journaliste wrote it...and he mencioned that his "resources are good". I don't know if I should believe it (in genaral the are written many lies) but you never know...If something like that happens I'll let you know.

Husband is a bit difficult because Stefanos is already married..Now lover is very possible...You mean that in Russia there is a rumor that they are couple?
In Greece it isn't heard something like that...yet...! I don't know, maybe there is a strong chemistry between them but many times in the press there are a lot of lies and senarios just for gossip.
But finally whatever it happens it isn't our job...they do their choices..all we want is good music from them!!
